how to link data from ebay to excel

February 8, 2011 at 16:05:53
Specs: Windows XP
Currently I look up products on ebay, find the one I am looking for, copy the site address, paste it in A1 then fill in the following categories, by hand.

Cost per of product 1 Item Shipping Shipping 2+ items

and then manipulate the data given into other cells on the same sheet

How would I be able to only have to input the website and so that it automatically fills in those variables in their corresponding cells?

Google the idea - there are some programs and workbooks available as well as some open source items for tracking selling and buying. You may find what you need. :)

I'm learning.

I must have spent atleast a good 6 hours looking for something to help me out but I cant seem to find something to fit those exact needs without much luck. If someone could help me out directly or redirect me to a tutorial or guide of how to do this exactly I would very much appreciate it

You might want to try your question in the either the Web Dev forum or the Programming forum.

Make sure you note that this isn't really an Excel related question so that the moderator doesn't simply bounce you back here as soon as he sees the word "Excel".

Tell them you tried your question in the Office forum and didn't get an answer.
