How can I give a tab in Excel a running total. So when I go into Excel and I have 12 tabs looking at me and each sheet there is a COUNTA formula counting each box. How can I get the total from each sheet to appear in one tab which is easy to view?

eachindividual total on one sheet.In any case, to SUM the totals:

=Sheet2!A1+Sheet3!A1+Sheet4!A1+Sheet5!A1

or

=SUM(Sheet2!A1,Sheet3!A1,Sheet4!A1,Sheet5!A1)

To see each total, it's just:

=Sheet2!A1
