Solved How to display time in CONCATENATE formula

October 9, 2014 at 09:17:59
Specs: Windows
Ex.
Cell A1 = [7:00 AM],
Cell A2 = [8:00 AM],
Cell A3 is a formula [=CONCATENATE(A1, " to ", A2)]

I want it to display [7:00 AM to 8:00 AM] instead I get [0.291666666666667 to 0.333333333333333]

How can I fix it?

✔ Best Answer
Use the TEXT() function:

=TEXT(A1,"HH:MM am/pm")&" to "&TEXT(A2,"HH:MM am/pm")

No need for the Concatenate, just use the & (ampersand)

Thank you very much. I was able modify this for my use. I din't think "&" would work with multi-line cell content, but it worked. My actual formula now looks like this:

=TEXT(A3,"HH:MMa/p")&" - "&TEXT(B3,"HH:MMa/p")&"
"&MID(PROPER(F3),8,99)&"
"&D3&" "&PROPER(C3)&"
"&G3
