Solved How to copy cell value from one workbook to another

Hello All! I'd really appreciate some help for a fellow Excel newbie! (pleeeeeease)

I have Workbook1 with file names "SenFile" and durations "Slength" in 2 columns. And then I have Workbook2 with the file names "SenFile" (but in a different order) and I need to copy the durations "Slength" from Workbook1 into the next column in Workbook2... I really hope that makes sense.
In other words:
Workbook1"Slength"->Workbook2"Slength" IF Workbook1"SenFile" = Workbook2"SenFile".

Basically Workbook 2 has the same file names but in a different order but no durations.

I need the corresponding duration for each file to be copied over to the correct file name...

Okay I'm going to shut up now and pray someone can understand my problem and help me!

Thank you very much :)

Do you want to Match the SenFile data in workbook 1 with the same SenFile data in workbook 2 or it doesn't matter where the data goes, just copy it?

A VLOOKUP() will probably get you what you need,
just be aware that both workbooks need to be open at the same time for it to work.
