Specs: Macintosh
i calculate a column of figures, then need to copy the results [not the formulas] to another column or worksheet.
I used to use something like =value [r,c] to just copy the printed result, not the formula

There are 3 options that come to mind:

1 - A manual Copy-PasteSpecial operation. This would result in just the Value being copied if the "Value" option for PasteSpecial was used.

2 - A formula e.g.

--- to "copy" to a different Column on the same Sheet:

=A1

--- to "copy" to a different Sheet:

=SHEET1!A1

Both of these would result in a formula being in the new cell. You could then do a Copy-PasteSpecial in the new cells to remove the formulas.

3 - A macro. A macro could be used to copy just the values to the new cells. We would need more specifics before we could offer any code.

I hope something there helps.
