Solved How to add word in the new drop down list

Specs: Windows 8.1
I recently bought a new office 2013 and i see that word is not appearing in the "new" drop down list.
That is, when i right click on the desktop and then click new, i find excel, power point but not word!
Please help!!!!!

Try this:

Close all explorer windows.

Click Start > Run

type winword.exe /r

Press <Enter>

Sorry, don't understand your response, but I take it that running

winword.exe /r

where the /r command line switch:

"Starts Word, starts Setup, makes changes in the Windows registry, and then quits. This switch forces a re-register of Word in the Windows registry."

did not solve your problem, Correct?
