Your goal is not clear.

"if cell "D4" in "formula 1" is not equal to cell "D4" in "collection" , insert value of "D4" in "formula 1" in new row."

It is not clear whether you want the value in D4 currently in "formula 1" inserted in a new row or if you want the value in D4 inserted in a new row in "formula 1". It's also not clear into which sheet you want this value inserted.

In addition, you do not state when you want this insertion to take place. At the click of a button? When a sheet calculates? When a cell is manually changed in one or the other (or both?) sheets?

We need clearer and more complete requirements before we can offer any help.

it's a little bit hard for me to explain but let me try.
my excel work book contains many tabs (formula collection, formula 1, formula 2, ....etc.)
when i add values to cells of "formula 1"sheet it automatically added to "formula collection" and so on with the other tabs.
"formula 1" and "formula 2"may not contains the same name values
all i want is when i manually add a value it will be compared to what is previously added to "formula collection" and if not equal insert the new value in new row.
thanks in advance.
