How do I turn off rounding when Excel is subtracting a

Specs: Windows XP
column? For example, if I have 25,000 and want to subtract 1975.50, Excel gives me 23,025 rather than 23024.50

The reason is in how you have the cell formatted.

If cell A1 = 25000
and B1 = 1975.50
and C1 has the formula: =A1-B1

Right click on cell C1
Select Format Cells (Near the bottom)
Select Number format
and in the right side of the popup window change the Decimal Places from zero to 2
or however many you want.
