Specs: windows 10
Microsoft Access 2010 loops in set up asking for product key; all other applications in Office work properly. After entering the product key the program says the installation was completed and to end all Office applications. When I try to open Access it goes to the same point asking for the product key.

It's possible Access is a trial version. Did you install it yourself, or did it come preinstalled on your computer?

This is an official copy that I purchased and downloaded from MS and have been using for many years, and now need to install Access. I've downloaded MS OffCAT which is supposed to verify office installations: it found I did not have Office SP2 and another update - so I installed both. It now says: " Error using Access wizards due incorrect path for Acedao.dll in the registry Description: To resolve this issue, you will need to update the TypeLib registration for ACEDAO.dll. Please use the instructions for '64-bit Windows, 64-bit Office' in article 2019235" None of the directions apply to my Windows 10 system.

There's a fix it and then a "Let me Fix it myself." Did you try either or both?

I've tried a number these as well as other fixes and including uninstalling/re-installing and all without success. I've decided not to us Access for my application.
