Specs: Windows 7
I am working in excel. I have thousands of rows of data with start time and end times. I'd like to show a chart that has total hours worked by each 1 hour increment in the day.

So basically someone works 8-5. I want to show how many hours worked from 8-9,9-10,10-11, etc and sum it all up by hours increment. Thank you!

Have no idea why you would want to do this,
but one possible way is to use the TIME() function
like this:

         A B
 1) Start Time	End Time
 2) 8:00 17:00
 3) 9:00
 4) 10:00
 5) 11:00
 6) 12:00
 7) 13:00
 8) 14:00
 9) 15:00
10) 16:00
11) 17:00

In cell A3 enter the formula:

=IF(A2+TIME(1,,)<=$B$2,A2+TIME(1,,),"")

Drag down 9 rows
