How do I write a formula in excel to add 90 days to a date, but only have it fill in the date once a date is entered? I'm trying to set up an HR file for my company to monitor flex time that has to be taken within 90 days of getting it. But when I enter the formula say =I2+90 its automatically picking up I2 as Zero and putting the date 3/30/1900, I don't want it to populate until there is actually date in the I2 cell.

You should read up on the IF function in the Excel Help files.

=IF(I2="", "", I2 + 90)
