✔ Best Answer
Have you tried renaming normal.dot?

1. Close word
2. Locate normal.dot (normal.dotm for Office 2007 & up)
3. Rename file to _normal.dot
4. Re-open word and try to print

For Windows 7 normal.dot is located here (normally): %appdata%\Microsoft\templates
You can also try to search for the filename normal.dot and rename that.

Thanks.

Thanks for any input.

Thanks for your response. Investigation showed that the problem was being caused by a corrupt file which, when removed, cleared the problem.

Thanks for taking the trouble to respond.
