I am not sure if this is possible, but I am trying to do a VLOOKUP inside of an IF FUNCTION equation. My equation is: =IF(R19>0,T19*(1+U3),T19*(1+$T$3))

I need to replace the U3 with a Vlookup, because I moved it to another worksheet. I tried to do an equation that looks like:

IF(R19>0,T19*(1+(VLOOKUP(B19,Sheet3!A3:C4,3,FALSE)),T19*(1+$T$3)) but it doesn't work. Thanks ahead for any help that is given!! I hope this is enough information to provide an answer.

it does work.....

you have missed out on the syntax try this out

IF(R19>0,T19*(1+(VLOOKUP(B19,Sheet3!A3:C4,3,FALSE))),T19*(1+$T$3))

Just a posting tip... Since we can't see your spreadsheet from where we're sitting, statements such as "but it doesn't work" are often not very useful.

Sometimes we can spot on obvious error in the use of the function. but most times it would better if you explained what "but it doesn't work" means.

Does it return the wrong value, does it return an error, etc.

I hope that Milind was able to solve your issue, but if not, please provide some details as to what "but it doesn't work" means.
