Solved How can I copy and paste a column repeatedly

March 25, 2013 at 15:03:16
Specs: Macintosh
I have data in column I that I want copied and pasted into column R, and every 9th column after that until the end of my document. Is there a way for me to do this without having to copy and individually paste the column every time?

Thanks for any help you can give!

✔ Best Answer
Try this code in a backup copy of your workbook as macros cannot easily be undone.

Sub CopyColumnBy9()
'Determine last Column with Data in Row 1
 lastCol = Cells(1, Columns.Count).End(xlToLeft).Column
'Copy Column I and Paste it into every 9th Column
  For dstCol = 18 To lastCol Step 9
   Columns(9).EntireColumn.Copy _
    Destination:=Cells(1, dstCol)
End Sub
