how can entire conversation disappear from ou

I sent an e-mail to someone, he replied and I replied back. Now all three of these e-mails have disappeared completely. They are not contained in the Inbox, Sent or Trash folders. I certainly didn't delete them nor did I move them to a different folder. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Yes it is. I am wondering if the other party recalled his e-mail but if he did how can he do that after I have read it and why did both of my emails disappear out of sent items?

No, that can't be done. If it's remote content it can be blocked, but that's about it. And I strongly doubt Outlook would confer script permissions to delete files. Have you done a global search for the mails?

Ah, the most basic thing and I overlooked it. Thanks for that. Still would love to know where they are hiding but at least I now have them. Thanks for your help.
