hide command button in sheet2 based on cell value in sheet1

Specs: Windows 7
Experts please help.

I am a complete newbie in excel vba. I have a workbook with 3 sheets and has added a command button in sheet 2. what should i do (codes in vb) to conditionally hide the command button if the value in cell a1 is true and hide it when its false.

please help me. thank you very much.

Why would you want it hidden for both conditions?

else
sheet1 cell a1 value is "any value other than 1" then hide button
