I think I phrased my request wrong! My bad.
I want to prevent others from editing certain columns in my worksheet, e.g there are two columns with fifty lines that I need them to insert figures into. The third column is a guide column that they MUST NOT EDIT!(of course you will get those that disregard that instruction, even if it is bold 30 inch letters.) The next three columns are for their info, and the forth, a guide, and so on.
I've managed to lock one cell, but I'm really losing it!!!!!
