Solved Help with excel or open office formula

Specs: Windows 64
Hello,
This may be easy for some but any help will be appreciated,Ive got 2 cells and need a return value if conditions are met in EITHER cell

eg
IF A1 OR B1 ARE >=1 BUT <=2 RETURN ME A VALUE OF SAY 1

I believe that this is what you are looking for:

=IF(OR(AND(A1>=1,A1<=2),AND(B1>=1,B1<=2)),1,"")

Each AND will evaluate its own arguments and return TRUE when the conditions for the specified cell are met.

If either of the AND's return TRUE, the OR will return TRUE.

When the OR returns TRUE, the IF will return 1. If not, the IF will return a blank cell.
