Are grid lines displayed when you choose File > Print Preview from Excel? If the grid lines do not show, do they appear when you check the Gridlines checkbox in the Sheet tab of the Page Setup dialog box?

The grid lines DO show on the print preview. The strange thing is that they print to the same printer from a different computer.

I would next check that both computers are using the same printer drivers and the printing options are the same on both. I presume it's Windows, so right-click on the printer name and choose Properties. In the Advanced tab, check the options in the Driver pull down lists on both computers. I would also check the Device Settings tabs (or Printing Defaults > Advanced) and verify that your printing options match. For example, one computer could have EconoMode set, or a different default print resolution. I have not seen your exact symptoms, but I have seen in other applications where some thin lines won't print with specific print options enabled.

I downloaded a file converter from microsoft.com. When I open the file through Excel Viewer and then print, the grid lines print just fine from the computer they didn't print from previously. There must have been formatting codes that do not stay active when using a different version of Excel. Thanks for your help.
