|Firstly thanks to the peeps who have helped me previously, albeit I'm not that good at explaining exactly what it is I am trying to do\achieve. anyway another puzzle.|
I have a continious running spreadsheet of all stationary orders placed and I need to keep a check on the most common items to watch just how many we are going through, so this is what I have
In column 'C' I have the qty, 'F' has the unique code ref,
What I want in columns I through R is the total so as I2 through R2 has the running total
for instance I want any cell in column I (running down) to look at 'F' and if it contains the code (2.547.525) to then look at 'C' and return the total. if the code is not in 'F' leave blank, and again for 'J' to look at 'F' and if it contains (701.079) and so on I know this would result in and error where the code is not found but that can be hidden with a simply ISERROR conditional format. I then want L2 to R2 to look down the colums and have the running total.
I then have another worksheet that adds the totals for each tab (depot)
Again I appologise if this is not explained very clear but it's easy to know what I want but not easy to put it into text.
