Excell using If Statement with Named Columns

Specs: Windows XP
I am trying to get an IF statement to work with 2 seperate Named column ranges to accomplish soemething like this this. If A1=(value in named column:NAME) then B1=(Value from named Column:ID).

Assuming the ID is in the same Row as the value you are looking up, have you considered VLOOKUP?

Read up on VLOOKUP in the Excel Help files and see if that will work for you.
