Solved Excell column addition

Specs: Windows 7
I want to set a formula by which every cell of a particular column will be the sum of values of some previous columns of the corresponding columns. For example, let's say the SUM column will be column 'M'. So, M1=B1+C1+D1+E1+F1+G1+H1+I1+J1+K1+L1.
M3=B3+C3+D3+E3+F3+G3+H3+I3+J3+K3+L3 likewise......
That means I actually need M=B+C+D+E+F+G+H+I+J+K+L for all rows.

Please help me, I am new to excel and can't set the formula.

✔ Best Answer
1 - In M1 enter =SUM(B1:L1)
2 - Press Enter
3 - Click in M1 and move your mouse over to the small square in the lower right corner of the cell.
4 - When the cursor turns into a plus sign, click and drag the formula down as far as you need it.

It will update the row numbers automagically.
