Solved Excel question - matching similar columns

Specs: Windows 7
Hi, I have two columns containing very similar data. However I need to extract the entries which are present in column A but not present in column B, and the entries which are present in column B but not present in column A.

Can anyone show me how to do it? I tried vlookup but seems a little complicated... :-/

Thanks.

Try these two formula:

If it is in Column A, but not column B : =IF(ISERROR(MATCH(A1,$B$1:$B$32,0)),A1,"")

If it is in Column B, but not column A : =IF(ISERROR(MATCH(B1,$A$1:$A$32,0)),B1,"")

This is for the first 32 rows, modify to suit your needs.

See how that works for you.
