Solved Excel - pre populate pages after ticking a check box

November 28, 2013 at 07:02:16
Specs: Microsoft XP
simply I will have a front page which details names / acoount numbers references etc.
Then there will be a list of different forms with a check box.
When I tick the check box I want it to populate all the relevant sheet within the workbook witht he data from the front page.

Woudl I need to do a macro for this? if so how do I do it? I have a rough idea but would I be able to just click record macro and start from there?

Yes you need a macro. And yes, recording a macro is generally the best way to start. If you don't have a book on VBA, you should probably get one. John Walkenbach's is pretty comprehensive.
