Excel Macro to unhide specific hidden tabs

October 9, 2012 at 12:44:20
Specs: Windows XP
I need to make a button to unhide a specific number of tabs. Example I have tabs named Guarantor 1 thru Guarantor 10. Is there anyway to assign a macro to a button to only unhide guarantors 1-4 or just one etc...? the Button would be named Guarantor.

How about using a series of Check Boxes, one for each sheet. A checked box will unhide it's assigned sheet.

See here, or do a Google search for more options on using Check boxes.

I like this but I am looking for something maybe where i do a user form, creating a button to unhide the form then on the form have a dropdown list with the available hidden sheets, it must allow me to select multiple sheets at once, and then a button on that form to click after choosing the sheets i want to unhide and it auto hides the form after clicking....what would the process and code look like for that?

I don't work with forms. In fact I tried to come up with something like that for you because getting the input for multiple sheet choices would be difficult with a simple VBA InputBox.

I did do some Google searches and that's how I found the CheckBox method.

I don't see why those CheckBoxes couldn't be put on a form but I would have to search via Google and learn it, just like you would.

I'll leave that work up to you. ;-)
