Excel If Formula

Specs: Windows XP
Hi,

I'm having problems with creating an excel formula

I want to create a formula that says IF cell A is bigger or equal to 5, then Cell D eqauls cell A*C, if cell A is between 5-100, then cell d equals cell A*F, if cell A is between 101-1000, then cell D equals cell A *G, if cell A is bigger that 1000, then cell D equals cell A*H and if cell A is blank then cell D is blank.

Can anybody help me?

Thank you

Your request does not make sense.

IF cell A is bigger or equal to 5

That make the rest of the formula of no use.
You give ranges for all of the other situations, but not the first one.

Sorry about that. I meant if cell A is smaller or equal to 5, then Cell D eqauls cell A*C, if cell A is between 5-100, then cell d equals cell A*F, if cell A is between 101-1000, then cell D equals cell A *G, if cell A is bigger that 1000, then cell D equals cell A*H and if cell A is blank then cell D is blank.

Thank you.

Try this:

=IF(A1<5,A1*C1,IF(AND(A1>=5,A1<=100),A1*F1,IF(AND(A1>=101,A1<=1000),A1*G1,IF(A1>1000,A1*H1,""))))
