Solved Excel Greater Than/Less Than Nested IF

October 25, 2012 at 07:56:36
Specs: Windows 7
I need to capture the following:
If data is >= 3.65, return 3
If data is < 3.65 but >= 3.35, return 2
If data is < 3.35 but >= 3.20, return 1
If data is < 3.20, return 0

The part I can't figure out is the last line, how to add in another IF to return 0 for the lowest data. Here is what I have thus far:

=IF(G2>=3.65,3,IF(G2<=3.34,1,2))

✔ Best Answer
Try this:
=IF(G2>=3,65;3;IF(G2>=3,35;2;IF(G2>=3,2;1;0)))

As long as I replaced the semi-colons with commas and the commas with decimals, it works! Thanks so much!!

Yes, maybe that the syntax differs from german to english version.
