Solved Excel formula will not convert to open office calc

Specs: Windows 7
Does anyone know what the conversion for this formula would be to make it work in Open Office Calc? I have tried several and nothing will work for me.
=SUMIFS(Sheet1!$D:$D,Sheet1!$A:$A,$A$4,Sheet1!$B:$B,A7)

According to this thread, which admittedly is about a year old, there is (was?) no SUMIFS in OpenOffice. The suggestion is to go back to the method for "sumifs" before SUMIFS was available in Excel: use SUMPRODUCT.

I don't use OpenOffice, so I don't know if anything has changed since that thread was opened.
