I have a report to do. It currently has metric dimensions in it,ie kg, cm and sqcm. I have to them tio imperial, ie..lbs, in and sqin. I need help in auto updating the cells in these equations. I'd like to make one equation, say for weight..=sum(2.2*D2) and have it go down the D column and update them all. Otherwise I have to do it manually. Have a WHOLE buch of these records. Any help, greatly appreciated.Tom

Hi,First off, the formula you posted is not right. If you are multiplying the value in cell D2 by 2.2 the formula is =D2*2.2Also Excel has built-in conversion formulas which are more accurate. Here is the kilogram to pounds conversion:=CONVERT(D2,"kg","lbm")Then just drag the formula down the column. If the first formula was in cell E2,drag it down to E3 and you get =CONVERT(D3,"kg","lbm")Look up Help for the Convert() function for more conversions. Note that prefixes such as "k" for kilo are shown in a separate group in the help file.Regards
