By validate I mean confirm the document number is correct based on the meta data from columns A, B, C and D. The document number consists of the Project SPM = 005B the Area Name 4210 - Ore Prep Discipline 02-Civil and Document Type Civil Deails-02C.` Project Area Discipline - Document Type``SPM=005B 4210 02 02C``Document Number 005B-210-02-C`

Keep in mind that we have no clue what criteria you are using to determine if the document number is "correct" or not. Based on what you've given us - some text strings in Columns A:D and a "document number" - how are we supposed to know if that document number is "correct" or not? You haven't told us whether is it or isn't correct nor have you given given us the reasons why.In fact, you've given us two different document numbers in responses 2 and 4. Is one supposed to be correct and the other not or are they both correct or both not correct? We can't read minds. Tell us whether the document number(s) you've given us are correct or not and tell us *why* they are or are not correct.Click Here Before Posting Data or VBA Code ---> How To Post Data or Code.

The document numbers are correct. They are correct because the document consists of the information contained in the columns.`Project Area Discipline - Document Type``SPM=005B 4210 02 02C``Document Number 005B-210-02-C`
