Excel 2010 missing gridlines when printing

Microsoft Excel 2010

Specs: Windows 7

My company have just installed my new computer in Windows 7. I now have Excel 2010 but i have found that when i come to print a spreadsheet, the gridlines on the right of the page do not print out, only the data in the fields.... So i just get half a spreadsheet in effect.

I have checked print area and page size and i don't know if it has anything to do with Windows 7 or the updated Excel version. I just can't figure it out!

Any tips would be much appreciated.

I don't have 2010 on the machine I'm at right now but in 2003, under the Print Setup...Sheet tab there is an option box to print Gridlines.

By default, Excel doesn't print gridlines, only borders, so perhaps the fact that you "upgraded" has set you back to the default settings.

I have a similar issue... But...
Same config Win7 (64-bit), Office 2010...

The symptoms are slightly different... I know all about the "Print Gridlines" Setup option... I used it all the time with Office 2003 and 2007...

What is happening (to me) is that the Grid lines on the first page are not printing entirely (some rows are printed with them, some are not. (and its not the same if I print the same worksheet over and over). From page 2 through the end of the document, the gridlines print fine...

More stuff...
Print Preview shows the grid lines...
If I print to a "PDF printer" or "Capture printer" the gridlines are still missing (as described above)...
For grins, I turned off the option and turned it backon... Still same symptoms.
If I use the "All Borders" borders option, the "lines" then print fine...
If I then set to "No Borders" (again), the symptoms show up again...

Fun, heh?

The problem RichSilv is having is the same as mine. If you have a picture in the header try removing it. It's the only thing that worked for me. No matter what is on the spreadsheet it prints fine until you place a graphic in the header, then all kinds of quirky printing issues araise. No real fix for the problem that I can find.
