Solved Excel 2010 Conditional Formatting

Specs: Windows 7
I am working in excel 2010 and looking for help with conditional formatting. I want to use the icon sets (red, yellow, green circles) based on the previous columns R, Y or G.

Ex: F3=G, then I want G3 to show a green circle.

Is this possible? Thanks!

How about this:

Enter this formula in G3:

=IF(F3="G",2,IF(F3="Y",1,IF(F3="R",0,"")))

Then use CF with the Traffic Light Icon set using a setting of >=2 for Green, >=1 for Yellow and the default of <1 for Red.

Make sure your Type is set to Number and the Show Icon Only box is checked.

Thanks. Is there a way to hide the numbers besides making the font white?

The numbers from the IF function?

Read the second half of the Make sure line in my previous post.
