My excel 2007 sheet exports xml data using xmlmap that I did not define. The map is defined and data is exported, but I want to know what cells the map is using for source. How do I view this info??

I can see the map and I can see which xml fields are populated, but I can't see what they are populated with. I can map and unmap but no option to view mapped cell source.

For more info: The sheet uses xmlmap.export in a macro initiated with a button and my xml comes out with data in it, it might have a 3 in <buyer> and the string PRV in <type>. Buyer and Type are not headers in the sheet. The spreadsheet has several pages and it's very complicated with buttons and drop downs and ranges and it's only making one order output in the xml and I can't tell where it is getting the 3 and the PRV.

The sheet also uses macros so it might be populating the xml data with something created in a macro.

I have googled everything I can think of for info. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

I can see why no one answered this. It looks like a stupid question because when I click on the highlighted (mapped) tags in the xmlmap the corresponding source cell is highlighted.

BUT, the catch is that the sheet that was being mapped was hidden so I didn't know it was there. When I unhid the sheet, I can see what is mapped to each tag including macro values. It was a summary one line sheet of the main sheets using formulas to fill in the cell values.

To unhide sheets use home tab/format/unhide sheets and the hidden sheets will be listed.
