I want to compare two cells that have a formula in them. If the values are equal I want it to be 0.5. If the first cell is larger than the second I want it to be 0. If it is smaller I want it to be 1. If either cell being compared I want it to be blank. The formula I came up with but it does not give a 0.5 value if they are equal. This is what I tried:

=IF(B3="","",IF(F3="","",IF(B3>F3,0,IF(B3<F3,1,IF(B3=F3,0.5,)))))

I think the problem may be because the value I want to compare is formatted for no decimal places but it seems to want to compare the decimal value so it does not appear as equal values. I only want to compare the non-decimal value.

I want to compare two cells that have a formula in themWhat do these formula look like?

Have you tried using =INT() to round a number down to the nearest whole number.

Or one of the rounding functions, =ROUND(), =ROUNDUP, =ROUNDDOWN()

Or even =TRUNC() to truncate the result.MIKE

Thagt worked
