I continue to have problems with Excel 2007 selecting multiple cells when I click within a single cell. Always it selects one or two cells below the one I've clicked on. This happens much more often with large complicated spreadsheets, but rarely happens within a simple spreadsheet.
I've been able to get around it by moving the mouse up a row or two (while holding down the left button) which causes Excel to deselect the additional cells until only the cell I want is selected. Other users have mentioned this issue before. Has anyone found out why this is happening?

I find that this occurs only when I'm in Page Layout view. If I change to Normal view, I can easily select one cell at a time.

Same problem with me, im also using a logictech wireless mouse. The temporary fixes mentioned on here and other posts work. Still wondering why microsoft has not patched a permanent fix yet....
