excel 2007 HELP ME PLEASE!!

Specs: Windows XP
Help me in trying to solve this problem that i been fighting with for 2 days. merging 2 columns into the 3rd with a 1 space between the infro in EXCEL 2003
Example: F(AB1) & H(16g)=G(AB1 16g).

try:

=F1&" "&H1

There is a space between the two quotes.

thanks for the answer so qiuckly and have tried that and for me an excel dummy it leaves the formula in the third column

I don't know what you mean?

Your example:

F(AB1) & H(16g)=G(AB1 16g).

Cell F1 contains AB1
Cell H1 contains 16g

you combine both cells with the formula

=F1&" "&H1

into Cell G1.

Don't forget to type the "=" before the formula in the cell, then you will get the result.Mike's answer is perfect.
