Specs: Windows 10
error 0x800408FC outlook2003 receive. Worked fine until replacing modem and wifi. Unable to receive email.

Are you sure that the system is connected to the internet? Changing your modem should not effect the email settings unless you actually changed something in the server/email configuration.

Doing the best I can here... And remember, there's always more than one path to success. :)

Echoing Jeffiner - double check "all" your settings for Outlook.

You may beed to repair the app to resolve the problems...; but first check "all" settings...

That error means:
"The server name you entered cannot be found on the network"

Is your internet working?

You might need to contact your server if they supplied the new equipment.

Having had the same error message in the past, I've found occasionally that the problem was resolved by a repair of MS Outlook; occasionally recreating the email account profile within MS Outlook; occssionally the problem seemed to resolve itself. You might also clear history & cookies too...
