embeding a video into powpoint?

Specs: Windows 7, 2.66 GHz / 6GB
Hi. I need help I want to embed a video into powerpoint 2007 so when i save the video is saved with it (not called from another place) I keep trying but every time the video does not save and the file size is only about 2mb not the 32mb it would be if the video was saved with it. I have camtasia 6 so can save the video in most of the formates. Please help thanks

As far as I know, you can not actually "embed" video in PPT versions prior to 2010. I won't mind if someone tells me I'm wrong...

You can also search that group for other info related to including videos in PPT presentations.

Im sure there is a way as i remebr doing it in 2003 with a swf file?

Are you sure you actually "embedded" the video and not had it in the same file folder as the presentation?

I'm no PPT expert, but from what I read in various forums, it can't be done. 2010 does it by default.

Again, I won't mind being proven wrong. Google around and see what you can find. We don't get a lot of PPT questions in this forum, but there might be someone lurking in the background who can help you.
