Email links not working

Microsoft Outlook 2010

Specs: Windows 7
I use IE 8 on Windows 7. I was using Outlook 2007 before and everything was working fine until I installed Outlook 2010. WHen I click on a link in the email it states "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator". I am signed in as administrator and I am not sure how to get around this.

Did you ever find a solution, as I have tried just about everything on the net.

This sounds as if a permissions issue. I don't have this issue, but my issue is that every time I click on a link Research opens up and gives a list of results for the specific word I clicked on. It does this whether right clicked, left clicked, ctrl clicked. I have yet to find the option that will cancel this. I think it a bug, especially since the behaviour occurs no matter how I click on the link. I can't think of any new services I have installed.
