Specs: Windows Vista
All of a sudden, all of my Excel files have unviewable data. When I open the files, only about half the data/text is viewable on the screen until I scroll down the page a ways. After scrolling down the page or clicking in a bunch of cells, the data appears in all the formerly blank cells until I leave the sheet. If I leave the sheet and come back, the data is gone again and it does not appear until I scroll down the page or click in the cells. It’s not just the data that disappears, but cell borders, too. Basically, about half the sheet is blank until I scroll or click. Sometimes, I even see my desktop in the blank area, which makes it seem like a "paint" or refresh issue.

Running Microsoft Office Diagnostics from the Start Menu;

Click All Programs

Click Microsoft Office folder

Click Microsoft Office Tools

Click Microsoft Office Diagnostics

Click Continue

Click Run Diagnostics

See if that helps.
