What exactly did you delete? PC Recovery software that was installed on your machine? "PC Recovery" can be used to describe more than one feature.

What EXACTLY did you delete and how? Please provide more detailed information to allow us to help you.

You don't need any Recovery in order to install Windows.

Actually I didn't delete my recovery, but I have devided my harddisk. When I bought my laptop recovery was on the disk D and now is on E. And when I want to install new windovs I can't use it.
I need this PC recovery for that. But i can not find it in my Start menu. It should be there like PC recovery for install windows.
I don't know if i have described it properly, but I hope you understand what I want to say :) I am sorry, I am just girl who doesn't understand this stuff :)

I do not have a recovery partition, and do not know anything about them to be honest.
So would it be possible to change the boot.ini to boot into the recovery partition should you need it.
eg multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(3)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Home" /fastdetect.
Just a thought!
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Home" /fastdetect
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(3)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Home" /fastdetect
