delete empty rows and columns

Specs: Windows 7
I have seen some macros for deleting empty rows. What I need is one that will delete empty Rows and also empty Columns in all tables in a MSWord document. I understand that some macros may crash if there is a vertical merge in cells, is there a fix to bypass this and continue the search, ignoring the merged cells?

As far as I know there isn't anyone that hangs out in this forum that is proficient in VBA for Word.

You might want to try asking your question in this usenet group:

microsoft.public.word.vba.general

You should be able to access with most newsreaders or via Google a Groups.

Good luck!
