Specs: Windows 7
I can't add any data as I have that cursor that looks like a cross, instead of the arrow. Scroll lock isn't on. Any ideas please?

Where did you get this issue, in your internet browser or any other application (which application)?

✔ Best Answer
That's quite normal, to have a bulky cross in Excel spreadsheet.
Simply click on a field you'd like to enter data and begin to type.
Another way, to do this is, to mark the field and click the edit line under the toolbars in Excel.
There, you have to enter a value or, if you'd like to add a formula, you need to put in the equal sign (=) first.
