creating a monthly production / billing workbook in excell

Specs: Windows 7
i am in the construction business and I am trying to set up a workbook that has a billing sheet, summary sheets and daily sheets to keep up with production and i have created the first three items but need to link everything together so if i put in a date on the billing sheet it will automatically fill in the information

Without more specific info the best I can offer is to look at the =LOOKUP, =VLOOKUP(), =HLOOKUP() family of functions.
They allow you to returns a value from other locations and other sheets.

Other functions that may be of interest would be the =INDEX() & =MATCH()
combo.

Also, not to be one to reinvent the wheel, have you looked at some of the many
templates offered?

Unfortunately there is no way to link to your file here.

Read this How-To which explains the use of PRE tags,
and post a small example of your sheet, and explain
what it is you want to do, using Column Letters and Row Numbers.

There is a way to post a short vid, but I've never done it,
and can not find the applicable How-To at the moment.
