Create Worksheets Using Macros

Specs: Windows XP
Hi All,

I have pretty basic knowledge of writing macros and i am struggling with creating a macro to automate my invoicing process. (I am using Excel 2010)

I have the data which is pivioted e.g below.

Amt Unit
Affiliate ANML1 ANML2
A023 1,000,000.00 2,000,000.00
A375 500,000.00 600,000.00

I want to use an existing template saved in the spreadsheet to create a new invoice on a new work sheet.

i.e a new worksheet named 'ANML1 - A023' & 'ANML1 - A375' (seperate sheets) which has the template format, another worksheet named 'ANML2-A023' & 'ANML2 - A375' (seperate sheets) which has the template format.. and so on....

The next step will be to populate the data into the invoice, to which i dont know but the above would be extreamly helpful... SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!! :)

Thanks
Jay

Please click on the blue line at the end of this post and read the instructions on how to post data in this forum. Then repost your data so we can how the columns are supposed to line up. Thanks.

I don't know what you mean by "a new worksheet named 'ANML1 - A023' & 'ANML1 - A375' (seperate sheets) which has the template format, another worksheet named 'ANML2-A023' & 'ANML2 - A375' (seperate sheets) which has the template format" .

You use the words "a new worksheet" which is singular, then you say "separate sheets" which is plural, then "which has the template format", which is singular again. You do the same thing with "another worksheet" (singular).

I have no idea how many sheets you are creating and what the names are.

Hello Sir,

Cheers thanks for sending that through and apologies as this is the first time i am posting on this forum.

So to clarify what I meant with the below data set:

Affiliate ANML1 ANML2
A023 1,000,000.00 2,000,000.00
A375 500,000.00 600,000.00

I got the 'ANML1 - A023' & 'ANML1 - A375' by combining the column and line. by doing so it should create a new worksheet with this name. Each combination is to create on a new worksheet.

At the same time when a new worksheet is created i would like it to copy accross a template into that worksheet from another worksheet in the same workbook, making sure it has the same formats/layout.

In the above instance in total it would create 4 worksheets each worksheet will be named with the combination. (i.e.);

'ANML1 - A023'
'ANML1 - A375'
'ANML2 - A023'
'ANML2 - A375'

Thankyou again.

It does not appear that you read the instructions found via the blue link at the end of this post as requested.

Since we don't know what columns or rows your data is in, we can not suggest any code to help you accomplish your goal.

I'll ask again.
