Can you create various cells inside of one row? I would like to insert an area on this numeric report to allow for name and organization. I want to lock the requested information but allow the recipient to fill in the requested information.
I know how to lock cells and rows but i would like to incorporate a locked cell on the same row as the writable space/cell.
1. Can a insert a cell in a row?
2. Can I lock one cell and leave the other unlocked on the same row?
Is this Excel (or maybe Open Office etc)? If so let us know and it can probably be shifted to the Office Software forum where it is likely to do better. Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
Yes, this is excel.
What you want to do is "doable" but can be a bit complicated, see here for a start:
Re #2 - thanks. As mmcconaghy has picked it up we'll leave it here on the Win 7 forum.
Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
