Copy to Word 2010 from web page resulted in black blob

Thank you Mythik! When I post to forums and other online activities I often write my piece in a comment section, then cut or copy/paste into Word for both word counts and to edit, then cut or copy/paste from Word back to the web page.

I upgraded from Office Pro 2003 on one machine and Office XP on another to Office Pro 2010 and one of the first frustrations I encountered was that wretched black blob when pasting text into Word. It was doubly frustrating because I was copying MY words from a comment box, not lifting article text. What I found was once I had cut/pasted into Word and got the black blob, I was unable to paste the cut text back where it originally was.

I was just about to reinstall an older version of Word after losing a fairly substantial body of text that I had considerable time researching that way.

I eliminated the 'send to blue tooth' and Word restarted after and it appears all works fine again.

I'm glad you got it fixed, but if you want to thank somebody it's best to either post on the relevant thread or send them a PM. I doubt very much that Mythic will see your post above.
