Copy the text in a column from sheet1 to sheet2

Specs: Windows 7
I have a worksheet (sheet1) that is an annual breakdown per month with differnt color letters/notes and then the Sheet2/3/4... is broken done by quarters. I want to enter the notes on the annual (sheet1) and have the same 'colored' note show up on the month or quarter on sheet2 or sheet3. Is that possible?
I currently have is doing the note (e.g.: '=Sheet1!B9') but not same color or format.

I don't think there is a simple way to do what you want. The only way to get formatting from one place to the next is to manually copy and paste/special/formats. Another way might be to use conditional formatting so long as the same conditions exist in the different sheets but this doesn't seem to be the case in your example.

We might be able to write a macro to do this but I suspect that may take longer than actually doing it manually. However, if you want to follow up on the macro option we would need much more detail on the structure of your spreadsheets and how they relate.
