Solved Copy Excel Formulas down a column

Specs: Windows 7
I don't have Skype and I can't copy Excel formulas in any direction...comes up with a div/0 error everytime. tried the double-click the plus sign trick but nothing I tried worked.

Just to add to what Derby has said, if your formula is always going to divide by the number 50 cells below then you will have something like

A1/A50
A2/A51
A3/A53

But if everything is meant to be divided by A50 then you will have to absolute that cell in your formula like this A1/$A$50

This will mean that when you drag it down your formulas will look like

A1/$A$50
A2/$A$50
A3/$A$50

etc

I'm not sure Skype has anything to do with it. :)

This is a Dividing by zero error.

What formula are you trying to copy?

I have a formula that divides the cell immediately to the left by another about 50 rows below the left cell. B2 would have a formula =sum(A1/A50). In the old days, I could grab the little plus sign and pull it all the down. Now, the B cells would have the results...

Is there data in A50 and below? If those cells are empty, you'll get a #DIV/0! error.
