Specs: Windows XP
have a bunch of imported data in an worksheet where the time is in format hh.mm.ss I want to import this into an Access DB but it isn't being recognized as a time format. I have tried to change the cell format to be hh:mm:ss, but i refuses to change it. Any ideas?

With your HH.MM.SS Time in cell A1 try the formula:

=TIME(LEFT(A1,2),MID(A1,4,2),RIGHT(A1,2))

You will then need to make the cell real times, not just cell with formulas.
Hightlight the cell,

On the Task Bar,
Copy
On the Task Bar,
Paste Special
Select Values
Click OK

Thanks for the reply Mike, Took me a few tries to realize I had to copy to the other rows before I did the conversion to values, but it works great!
